In Our Own FIMA, I shared on Focus, Immediacy, Mission/Meaning and Action. I humbly encourage the read. That said, this will be one of the shortest blogs I have ever written. It focuses on Action, the Execution. I have done my strategic planning (and am back teaching it again this term on Campus). But Strategic Management is about Analysis, Formulation, Implementation and Evaluation… and that Implementation thing is the Action thing, and the crucible to see what works.
I am in that space now. Planning done and now 90 days to take Action. I am aware that our WHY inspires action. I am also aware of the importance of Discipline.
Identifying what needs to be done is important. As Seneca said, “If a man knows not to which port he sails, no wind is favorable.” But we also need to set sail. With WHY and WILL, I am setting thusly. How about you?
